Three jobs, all of them about an area rather than a building

Most drone work sold in this country is one visit to one roof. This is the other kind: a planned run over a piece of ground, flown so that the frames overlap enough to build something you can measure off afterwards.

Aerial site mapping

A planned photographic run over a parcel or a site, and the orthomosaic, surface model, contours or point cloud built out of it.

A flight plan drawn round your parcel before the price is agreed, not on the day
A stitched orthomosaic of the whole area, square on, at the resolution the flight height allows
A surface model of the ground and everything standing on it
Contours generated from that surface model where you have asked for them

Site mapping

A working Devon stone quarry from the air, with a stepped rock face, graded aggregate stockpiles on hardstanding, dump trucks and loading shovels on the haul roads and a settling pond alongside

Volume and stockpile surveys

Repeat flights over quarries, aggregate yards, clamps and fill, measuring the difference between one captured surface and the next.

Surface models of each pile, face or cell captured on the visit
Volumes calculated between the captured surface and the base or previous surface agreed with you

Volumes
